BSE-Sofia offers a wide range of information services and products, related to the trading of financial instruments, listed on the markets organized by the Exchange. BSE-Sofia calculates four own indices, the oldest and most popular of which is SOFIX. Its calculation started on October 20, 2000.
BSE-Sofia provides market data to data-vendors in standard information packets that are developed in order to satisfy the needs of potential corporate clients of the Exchange: information agencies, investment intermediaries and issuers.
The Exchange also publishes regular daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly bulletins that are available both in Bulgarian and English.
In January 2008 BSE-Sofia, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Financial Market Service Ltd, started its new information service X3 News. X3 News is a specialized media, through which the public companies and the other issuers of securities can fulfill their legal obligations for information disclosure to the public according to the Law on public offering of securities. X3 News guaranties the dissemination of information in a non-discriminative manner ensuring that the information reaches simultaneously the widest possible range of end users. The System ensures the release of information in a manner that guarantees safety of the connection, eliminates the risk of data losses, does not allow unauthorized access and guarantees the origin of the regulated information.
In April 2008 BSE presented its newest product - X3Analyses. X3Analyses is a financial analyses application, developed and operated by Balkan Services Ltd. and Financial Market Service Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BSE-Sofia. X3Analyses provides high-quality financial analytics and analysis tools to carry out reliable and accurate business valuation, screening and benchmarking on the securities trading on BSE-Sofia. X3Analyses' mission is to serve investors by simplifying company analysis to a quick and easy task.
