On 10 October 2017 the Board of Directors of Monbat AD has adopted a decision for the issuance of first order corporate convertible bond issue in terms of initial public offering. Some of the main conditions of the issue are as follows:
- Total nominal value of the issue: up to EUR 30,000,000
- Number of bonds: up to 30,000
- Type of bonds: ordinary, registered, dematerialized, interest-bearing, convertible, freely transferable and unsecured
- Nominal value per bond: EUR 1,000
- Issuing value per bond: EUR 1,000
- Interest rate: floating rate of 6-month EURIBOR plus allowance of 300 basic points, but not less than 3.00 % on an annual basis
- Term to maturity of the bonds: 84 months
- Subscription ratio: One convertible bond may be subscribed against the exercise of 1,300 rights
- Minimum amount of cash raised at which the loan shall be deemed to be concluded: EUR 15,000,000
- Elana Trading AD, UIC: 831470130, is the investment intermediary through which the initial public offering of the bond issue shall be implemented.
In the event the subscription is successfully concluded and the new bond issue is registered with the Central Depository AD and filed with the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) for trading on a regulated market, the Issuer will request admission of the issue of bonds to trading on the regulated market organized by BSE-Sofia.

The BSE Main Market turnover amounted to EUR 24.1 mln in September which was nearly 70% lower compared to the strong results in August 2017 but 2.8 times higher than the turnover in September 2016. All segments of the BSE Main market, besides Premium Equities Segment, increased their capitalization on a monthly basis. The total market capitalisation rose insignificantly by 0.5% with the REITs segment adding 3.3% and the Standard Equities Segment 1.2%.
BGTR30 was the only gainer among the BSE indices in September with an increase by 0.6%. All other indices registered slight decreases during the month.
