BSE-Sofia organizes two markets according to various quantitative and qualitative criteria. These markets are segmented according to the type of financial instruments, specific requirements to the shareholders' structure of respective issuers, their financial results, liquidity of the issues and information disclosure requirements.

Only dematerialized financial instruments, which transfer is neither restricted, nor specially conditioned, may be traded on a regulated market. Currently, the following types of financial instruments are admitted to trading on BSE-Sofia:

Admission to trading

In order to be admitted to trading on the markets organized by BSE-Sofia the issuers have to comply with all the requirements and conditions of the Public Offering of Securities Act and of the Rules and Regulations of BSE-Sofia.
